HOPE Scholarship Donation Fund
(Helping Others by Promoting Education)

We are seeking donations from community leaders, businesses and individuals to enhance the availability and number of scholarships to foster/adoptive youth by offering the HOPE Scholarship Donation Fund. Our goal is to be able to offer several scholarships in ALL areas of our state. (The sections are identified as the nine (9) geographic regions designated by the Louisiana Department of Social Services)

To Support:

Ways to Get Involved

• Donate a working computer to a local foster parent association
• Volunteer as a committee member for your local foster parent association
• Contribute to a foster youth scholarship fund
• Assist a foster parent association in developing a foster family resource center
• Mentor a youth transitioning out of the foster care system
• Provide discount coupons for foster families
• Donate new games, puzzles, sports equipment to a foster parent association
• Become surrogate grandparents
• Host a Party for the children
• Sponsor a recreational outing to a nearby park
• Become a Friend of LFAPA
